We have the results from the paper ballot, but we are now going to do the tallying of the electronic voting which is going to be done right in front of you, and the results would be added to what we have from the paper ballot, and totalled and the results announced shortly, very shortly. 08:35 Ernest Byaruhanga: Okay, our volunteers, the results are in front of you. Can you please add them to what you have for the paper ballot and do the final total? Thank you.

17:14 Ernest Byaruhanga: So we are ready to announce the results. But before doing that, I would like to use this opportunity in the name of the NomCom members to thank the board of AFRINIC for the trust they put on us and for their co-operation. And as Chair I would really like to thank my colleagues, Aminata, Janvier and Mustapha for the collaboration in NomCom. So the results are as follows; We had 101 votes, including the e-votes. The paper ballots was 70 and one, 71. And for seat five Southern Africa, we have Lucky Masilela. [applause] Lucky Masilela with 39 votes. And for seat six, Eastern Africa, we have Abibu Ntahigiye [applause] with 53 votes. So with that, I thank you very much and I hand over to the Chair or to CEO, Chair.

Congratulations to the candidates that have been elected as board members, but very much more congratulations to those who stood for elections, the joy is in offering to serve. Might not be that you are not good, it's just that the community has preference at this point in time. Once again, congratulations to everybody.
