Status of the Policy Manual 00:00 Ernest Byaruhanga: Okay, this will be really quick and short. We presented this same piece of information about one year ago, and what the Policy Manual is, it's an initiative to try and combine all our policy documents into one big document, into one document that is easy to refer to, to browse, because right now we have different pieces of policy documents that are all numbered with different IDs, and what we're trying to do is get all these into one document. Now, we have already done that, and the draft of this is actually on our website. 00:49 Ernest Byaruhanga: To not go around this much, I will take you through what the milestones were on this, because we already... This is a piece of work that has been completed. We did it, presented it at one of our meetings, I think about one year back, at which meeting the community president decided that we throw it to the mailing list for comments and feedback, and at the same time, gather all the comments that were received and hand it over to the board for approval. Now, we have requested the board. We believe the board has received it more than six months back, and our different follow-ups to the board to get this approved so far, have not gotten any feedback to the policy development working group and the co-chairs. 01:46 Ernest Byaruhanga: So, I would, perhaps... I see the board members looking at me, some of them. If this was approved, we are happy to hear any sort of feedback. If we didn't reach the board, we are still happy to formally say, "here it is", we're waiting for its approval. Because I see a few stares from some board members [chuckle] ad I understand. But for the benefit of those that don't know what it is, it's just a simple rearrangement of all our policy documents into one easy-to-refer-to source or document or page, and this was a leaf borrowed from what Erin has done with the member resource policy manual which we found quite nice and easy to refer to and read and browse, and even easy to update. So, if, perhaps, the board has received this, we are more than happy to hear what's happening on its implementation and approval. Thanks. 02:52 Sunday Folayan: Thank you for putting the board in a fix. No, we didn't receive it. 03:04 Seun Ojedeji: Ernest, will you say something about that? 03:08 Ernest Byaruhanga: That is an interesting development. We were under the impression that the board has received it. We have received it more than... Many months back, and we used our internal follow-up to always find out what's happening, and we did not get any feedback. And we're more than happy to re-submit it to the board for its approval. 03:31 Sunday Folayan: Thank you. Please resubmit before we leave Tunis. 03:34 Ernest Byaruhanga: Okay. Thank you so much. And I believe that concludes my presentation. Thank you.
